This shiitake mushroom growing kit comes complete with a ready to grow shiitake mushroom substrate block, humidity tent, complete and easy to understand instructions and recipes for the delicious shiitake mushrooms you will harvest at home. If properly cared for, our mushroom block can produce up to 6 or 7 harvests compared to only 2 to 4 crops with a traditional grow log kit.

Our special substrate blocks are made of enriched hardwood sawdust which makes them superior to traditional mushroom growing logs as we can provide the optimal blend of nutrients the shiitake mushrooms love. Growing mushrooms in this manner is also cleaner and more manageable.

Each growing kit weights approximately 6 pounds and when the kit stops producing indoors, they can be worked into your garden soil for extra nutrients.

Our mushrooms are picked by hand daily and are guaranteed free of pests and chemicals because of the controlled grow rooms. To ensure freshness the mushrooms will be shipped next day mail.

• We do ship internationally on all dry items, please contact us for shipping rates outside of the 48 states.

• Because perishable items must arrive quickly to prevent spoiling we only offer next day delivery on these items.
• Since the cost of next day delivery varies greatly by weight and distance we calculate exact shipping for each order. When you click "Order Now" on a perishable item you will be taken to an e-mail form which will ask you for the quantity and the zip code it will be shipped to. An accurate e-mail invoice will be sent to you within 1 business day.
• Perishable items must be delivered to a physical address, you may give us an alternative address than your own so someone will be available to accept the delivery. We can not be held responsible for items that are spoiled.
